On the quiet backside of Morro Bay sits the Sweet Springs Nature Preserve. This photograph looks out over the estuary, where the waterway meanders through marsh and wetlands. And at the very end of that ribbon of water, a view of Morro Rock.

The composition draws the eye along the natural curve of the estuary, through layers of reeds and open water, toward that distant, iconic silhouette. It is a view that rewards patience and a willingness to wander off the beaten path.

Items are shipped by the DH Designs team of two, my wife and me. If we
